Sports Therapy and Remedial massage service tailored to your needs

General, Sports, Pre-Event / Post Event massage, muscular conditions and joint pain.

Remedial massage therapy is a treatment oriented therapy which deals with the assessment and treatment of injuries and musculoskeletal conditions. Remedial massage is based on the fact that soft tissue (muscles, tendons, ligaments and fascia) respond to touch. Remedial massage is one of the most effective and readily available ways to prevent and treat muscle injuries, pain and soreness. Feel the benefits of a regular massage programme.

Acupuncture for Sports Injuries

Acupuncture is a tool of Oriental medicine which regulates the flow of ‘qi’ or energy around the body through pathways called ‘meridians’, which correspond to all of the organs in the body. Acupuncture can be used for pain relief, it can relieve tight muscle tissue, facia, ligament and tendons. It can improve wellbeing and relaxation and also encourage muscles to activate.

Injury Rehabilitation

A specific exercise program tailored to you to correct imbalances throughout the body and to promote the healing of injuries or to enhance performance. With a demonstration of the correct technique of each exercise.

Pilates

Encourage a whole body stability, functionally strengthening and balancing muscles at every joint; improve posture and increase abdominal tone, pelvic floor strength, back and glute conditioning.

Move more efficiently and correct muscular imbalances and enjoy moving more freely. Group class or on a 1 to 1 basis..

Hot Stones Massage

Add hot stones as part of your massage. Smooth, heated stones are used as a tool to get into the muscles and the heat penetrates through the muscle tissues as helps to release tensions; it is a warming and relaxing touch and the therapist can work more deeply and quickly for great results and excel the body’s release of toxins, leaving you feeling warm and relaxed and finding a lot of benefits from this technique.
